Most likely you have a mod conflict.
Although several tasks are not displayed on the map and compass, are you going through them now?

Spoiler check your mods, some kind of mb turns off markers (for example, a requiem) or in the settings I dug into the ini file (but I would remember it if I climbed). In short, install SkyUI and in the MSM menu of mods, see which one turns off.
