Demo version of the game (Destiny)

Such and such a question. I downloaded about a 6-gig file from the PS Store, I started it, at first it said "Niggle, nothing else", updated by another 2 gigabytes, and then started up and SUDDENLY began to download data up to 18 gigs. Is it okay for a demo to have that kind of weight?
