Game stopped launching after Windows update (Fallout 4)
I played in the evening, everything was fine, in the morning I turned on the laptop and saw a message about the need to reboot after updating Windows (I have Win8.1 Laptop Acer i7 4710gq 2.5 12gb RAM GeForce GTX 860m 2gb) before that the update played and did not knock out, now either it comes in for 1 minute and knocks out with the message:"The video driver NVIDIA Windows Kernel Mode Driver, Version 358.91 stopped responding and was successfully restored"
or it crashes the application without even opening the game (I
tried system restore, the
drivers for the video card do not work, the last are from the very release of the game
I'm participating in the beta test

figured it out, made a failure as much as possible (5-6 days), installed everything on Windows, went to the update center and installed all the possible ones that were there, then put the last firewood on the video card, but an error appeared, the driver was stopped and successfully restored, I also solved it, went into the nvidia settings => 3d parameters => global => power management mode => preferred mode of maximum performance

Do you think the problem is in the wood of vidyuhi or with the update of Windows?
I rolled back the video driver earlier, it did not help.
Windu completely reinstalled, did not help.
Maximum performance - not sad for a vidyuhi?

yes no, it seems, it has been working for a week, fps has not increased of course, overheating has not been detected either, everything is as it was before

I think that Windows released the updates, then I made a fix for them, I downloaded it and everything fell into place
I wonder if there are still people who believe in gaming laptops. They are absolutely not intended for this, launching games (especially heavy ones) you only break your laptop.
I have a GG4
laptop for work, games are secondary, I would like to play, I would buy a hospital for this money
