Dark screen when picking locks help! (Fallout 4)

when I want to crack any lock or safe, just a black screen shows you can hear the sound as you twist the hairpin, but nothing is visible

and your screen is "square", and put your extension?

Locks etc are fixed by installing the mod, mainly due to incompatibility with some of the left-hand extensions.
