Joining a faction (Fallout 4)

There are similar topics, but no one really answered. Didn't even make it to diamond city, but I can join the BS. If I join, will I be denied access to other factions? Will it be possible to take and complete tasks from them?

Spamerkon,
up to a certain point, you can be in everyone, but then, as the plot develops, you will be warned that one more square and everyone with the rest will become an enemy.
