Can't upgrade Windows 7 64 to Windows 10
A couple of weeks ago I requested an update to Win 10, and there was a power failure right during the download of the update files. Got the folders $ Windows. ~ WS-5,56Gb, $ Windows. ~ BT-only 830Kb, and the folder $ Windows.old was not downloaded at all. Obviously, Microsoft thought everything was in order (and I didn't notice it right away), because when trying to update, he refused under the pretext of incompatibility, although he had previously confirmed it. I had to stupidly delete these folders. With a new request for a full update, only $ Windows. ~ BT is downloaded at 162Mb (obviously, a partial update of this folder) and, of course, when trying to update, it says "Windows 10 cannot be installed. Failed to update the partition reserved by the system." Please advise how else you can get the complete update package. A clean install is totally unsuitable for me.4 Comments

I wrote the image to disk, started the installation, but the same thing happened: the $ Windows. ~ BT update was downloaded at 162Mb and further in the text.
