Error 00xc0000142 (Broken Age)

I download the game, install it - everything is fine. As soon as I start to start, first I climb out a sign with incomprehensible symbols (probably in Elvish) and I press "Ok", and then a sign that says "Error while starting the application (00xc0000142)". What to do?
