Special Enemies (Warhammer: End Times - Vermintide)
we describe the habits and abilities of enemies,I will describe what I know about enemies
storm rat-armored (means that it breaks into the body only with a weapon with a piercing blow or in the head) a very strong blow when compared with ordinary rats. there is also a sonder team of such handsome men, but they they give themselves away with a march and they can be bypassed.
Globider, aka plague rats, betrays himself by sound. throws flasks with the evaporation of the warp stone when entering the cloud, health is taken away, the view is deteriorating and also works as a smoke screen. After receiving a certain amount of damage, it enters the kamikaze mode and explodes similarly to throwing a flask when it reaches you. On death, it does not leave a green cloud yet.
Runner along the ditches - you will be warned about his appearance with a mysterious conversation (kill them, or the master or disappear in case of failure) runs quickly and tries to jump like a hunter in a well-known game. it is very easy to spot it from afar, but difficult to shoot (very fast). if he is injured when he cuts someone, he will try to disappear so that he will reappear (it is not known whether he really restores health).
The leader, he is a master hook or a strangler, is almost an analogue of a smoker, there are two features: the first he attacks near with a special stick. Second, having dragged someone far away, he puts the stick and follows the next player. it is silent and often walks with a crowd of rats, which is what disguises itself. A dangerous enemy, if the team is not well-coordinated, can strangle everyone with a stick or do much harm.
the ogre rat is an analogue of a tank from a well-known game. again two features 1. you do not have machine guns .2 easier to dodge thanks to the block and dodging left and right back. when he appears, it is not necessary to run with the whole crowd and beat melee. Two people distract and hit melee, and two shoot so more damage and less damage from splash. If there is a potion of strength (more damage from melee weapons) or speed (easier to dodge) it is better to use it.
Rats machine gunner, he is also a terminator, he shoots at you if you come under fire, hide because he puts it quickly at close range. however, to shoot, he needs time to spin the machine gun. It gives out itself by sound to health is weak.
all that I know if that supplement the facts.
Few countermeasures from personal experience based on the above (all tested personally). The narration will come from the perspective of a Dwarf with a shield and an ax (please take this into account).
C Huge Rat, everything is simpler than it seems. The beast concentrates attention on someone from the group - this person just runs, does not kite him with his back, but runs, if the team is not quite wooden, this beast is killed even in miles, the main thing is that when changing the target, the target begins to do the same, and do not fight him in hand-to-hand combat.
Stormvermin is an armored beast, perhaps a nightmare for many, but not for those who have mastered the block technique. This rat is armed with a spear, so it needs a swing to attack. If you stand close to him, he will push you. The principle of the fight is a blow with a shield, a couple of punches in the face (the only unprotected place), the main thing is to be in the grinding to him, when he recovers, the rats will push you and not hit, which gives time for the same retaliatory maneuver with a shield. This tactic works with patrols, but here everything is more complicated, because there is always a second row that you may not be able to push. It is not difficult to kill 2 - 3 rats. However, the support of the team in such situations is appreciated.
It is strange that TS forgot / did not mention Rathlingan (machine gunner).
For the rest of the enemies, everything is in principle simple, aim at the head and do not substitute yourself. In the case of the Assassin (priority for lonely team members), Leader (priority for the closest team member), Bomb Thrower (throws if he sees, prefers to avoid melee combat), Ratlingan (attacks the most convenient target, or a dwarf) - there is a universal advice, always hold a weapon reloaded (applies to a soldier, dwarf, witchhunter), because even with white weapons (for example, a dwarf's double-shot shotgun) they are killed when hit in the head 100%.
