Change RAM Windows 8.1

Kind time of the day, comrades)
Maybe someone came across a similar problem.
I had 4GB of RAM, two strips, the opportunity turned up to change one to 8GB. 12 GB released.
The operating frequency is the same - 1600 MHz.
But after the change, I noticed that the red indicator on the DRAM_LED motherboard was on.
After the launch, Windows did not boot, errors constantly flew, endless reboots.
I changed it back, a couple of reboots, it worked, though I cut down the PC completely from the power supply for a couple of minutes.

Maybe you need some dances with a tambourine to change the RAM? or just different manufacturers and therefore there was no compatibility, but what does Windows have to do with it

firstly, in the first slot of the RAM by numbering on the motherboard, insert an 8 gig bar and in the rest of a smaller volume

if possible, check the operating system with the memtest program in the internet, you will find

and if it's not a secret what percentage do you have?

there is also not a high probability that the operating system works at different frequencies, then the operating system will operate at a lower frequency from the set bars, problems are possible

I figured out the RAM, thanks
Changed the bar without disconnecting the PC x) Everything works, the timing and memory frequency are identical, although the manufacturer and different things work with a bang!
