Despite the fact that 6 years have passed, and then almost 7 years))) I have found a solution and will give the answer, what you need to do in order to save during the game ....
1. Go to the folder with the game
2. Right click on StarCraft.exe.
3. Select a compatibility section.
4. Install compatibility with Windows 95 (you can also try with Windows 98).
5. Apply these options.
6. Run the game as administrator (once), you do not need to run as administrator every time.
That's the solution, the records are saved during the game. Tested on Windows 7.
