Main characters (ZombiU)

Is it possible to somehow choose your playable character, and not constantly die until the great random slipped something normal? Maybe there are some save editors or something else like that to change this misunderstanding?

The characters have no characteristics, so they are all the same except for gender, they are no different

There are still legs on the stairs, and every time you look at the inventory, you can see it completely. Annoys.
