Savepoints (Metal Gear Solid 5: The Phantom Pain)

Hello everyone. Is it possible to somehow trigger savepoints? I noticed that sometimes in the middle of the mission, with certain actions, there was a save where it seems like there should not be a checkpoint ... Thanks in advance!

As I understand it, quixave as in the Witcher 3 does not smell here? Is it possible somewhere in the middle of a mission after an autosave to leave the game and then go in and continue with this autosave among the mission?
