We share our opinions. (Still Life)
Another representative of a small quest charter. Horror adventure that takes us back to the 20s of the last century. The main character is a young FBI employee Victoria McPherson, who is investigating a series of bloody murders. The list of game features includes old-fashioned pixel hunting, a mesmerizing storyline, original characters and inventive puzzles. Fans of the endangered genre should definitely wait. This forum, as I see it, is just bursting with people. )
I liked the quest. Simple, laid-back, very cinematic. Passed in two days. There were no special problems. The ending was a little disappointing, but in principle, it depends on how you look at it. I just don't like understatement.
On the whole, Good. )
Yesaaaaaaaaaaaaa! yes, here probably the server is already torn apart by the people! Bugagagagagaga !!!!!!!!
Of course, I don't want to distract all the people that hang out here, but I have a question about technical problems. After starting the game, the screen turns black and that's it. If the solution to this problem, taking into account the fact that I have Vista SP1, and do not want to get rid of it.
I really liked the game)
Especially the paintings, of which I selected one.
The one with the red veil **
The quest is one of the best to date. It is a pity that today such games are no longer made, the author of this topic correctly noted that the genre is dying out, and this is a sad trend.
I heard about this game for a long time, but got acquainted with it only now. I didn’t think the game would be very interesting, but fortunately I was wrong. The only quest in recent years, which turned out to be no worse than Siberia.
Post Mortem and Still life are the very first quests that I went through. After them there were Siberia, Siberia 2, Still life 2. Oh nostalgia ...
Now I'm playing Nancy Drew, but it's not that at all.
Replayed since 2006 in a bunch of quests. But I found out about this, one can say, only the other day (about him and more about "Still Life 2", "Post Mortem", "Nikopol Secrets of the Immortals" ... these games are still ahead of me). =) I liked "Still Life": everything is beautiful, logical, atmospheric, plot ... everything, except for the ending, like think out for yourself.
Spoiler It just so happened that I was told that in the second part the veil of secrecy over the identity of the killer would not be lifted, and this disappointed a lot. And I've already heard a lot about multiple bugs in the game ... But I'll play anyway, I'll see it myself.
I found a lot of different explanations for the ending on different forums, I personally liked this one, although the authors hardly went this way. =) And still I will share:
Spoiler A variant of the ending from a certain Bomber
Bet 9 out of 10 for this game. Fans of quests are required to pass. =)
PS By the way, from the ending there is a feeling of deja vu ... somewhere I've already seen it ...
