White Screen in the Animus (Assassin's Creed 2)

The people decided to go through AC2 for the second time, played as soon as it came out on an ancient computer) I downloaded the repack from the Mechanics, installed it, started playing. The moment you come up to the Animus with Lucy and therefore climb into it, the screen just stupidly turns white and the background special effects are audible.
