Optimizing turn times (Sid Meier's Civilization 5)
Finally I took 5 tsiv very closely. I like to play on a large map with a maximum of cities and powers, respectively, the further the game is, the longer the turn time for the computer. Does anyone know how to optimize this moment? I know that you can speed up combat and movement in the settings and press F10 before each move. It helps a little, but I would like to speed up this process as much as possible. Maybe there is some kind of mod? Reducing the graphics settings does not help, I checked it.2 Comments

Everything depends on the power of the processor and the operation as far as I figured it out. The processor counts, and each hex is in the RAM, the larger the map, the more the RAM sweats. The processor also sweats, but the load on it grows less as the game progresses. While, as the map is opened, each new hex is added to the operative. This is not true, but this is how I understood the game. Therefore, upgrading your computer is a way out.
