Solving the problem with saving in multiplayer (Dungeon Siege 2)
Many people have a problem in playing on the network, and specifically the fact that the game saves the progress of quests, the world, but does not save the squad (character), this problem is solved quite easily.1. We have a character, the saves are located in computer documents, for example: C: Users Alex Documents My Games Dungeon Siege 2 Broken World Save MultiPlayer
2. In the MultiPlayer folder, go to the folder with the name identical to the name of your character in the game.
3. In the character folder, we see several files of different extensions, as well as the ds2_world folder (it saves the progress of quests and the world, but not the character)
4. The main character save file is the file: "character_name" .ds2party it is he who is responsible for saving your squad (his level, things, skills, etc.)
It happens that along with the file "character_name" .ds2party the file "character_name" .ds2party.tmp appears and it turns out that the game saves all progress to it, and when the character is loaded again the game is loaded from the file ("character_name" .ds2party) because of this we in the game we see all the time not saved character.
This problem is solved as follows: Take ("character_name" .ds2party.tmp) transfer it from the folder with saves, for example, to the desktop (the main thing is to remove it from the save folder, but not delete it) then change its format from "TMP" to "DS2PARTY" and name it and transfer it to the save folder so that it replaces the original one ("character_name" .ds2party).
That's all. In case of further problems with saving, we repeat the procedure.
