Conversations with NPCs (The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt)
Help solve the problem.Put an "idiotic" mod for an increased amount of gold from merchants.
Before that, I saved the previous version of the file.
I took advantage of the mod.
I removed the mod and put back the original startup.bundle file
However, now it is simply impossible to talk to many NPCs.
Above them there is no word "talk" and the letter E.
At first I spat on it, tk. it was impossible to speak only with a couple of merchants, but now I noticed that it was impossible to go further along the plot, because no conversations with significant NPCs ...
I, too, recently did not speak with the blacksmith, meditated for 3 days (play, of course), everything went away.
First check the Steam cache.
Secondly, try the save that was made before installing the mod.

Well, as an option, reinstall the game, maybe there are some files that are broken, and again try to load different saves.
kafaer
Maybe the time is not right? Not all crafters / NPCs are in place at night.
WitcherPlayer
Well, for example, Vernon Roche and Triss, I can't talk to them.
They are not even merchants.
kafaer
Did you include the simulation of solutions from the 2nd witcher? Because of this, there may be a problem with Roche, but I don't even know with Triss ...
Yes, no, there is definitely because of the fashion of this.
You need to talk to Roshe on the quest right now and he is waiting for me, only you can't talk to him.
Yes, and some of the merchants with whom I spoke before installing the mod - now it is no longer possible to talk.
I reinstall, I'll see.
So try just a clean installation, and before that, throwing the saves onto the USB flash drive, and cleaning up everything related to the witcher, including clearing the CCleaner register, and then install it again and discard the saves

It's about the saves themselves. The client has already deleted, put a clean one, but took saves ...
Until the very beginning of the game, you will have to reset all progress :(
kafaer
Try to install another version, but delete your saves. You will, of course, have to play again, but otherwise you will not be able to take tasks from many NPCs.
Kuvutvu
Yes, this version is also suitable.
The fact of the matter is that the problem is in the saves ...
I tried to start a new game and approached these NPCs, the conversation was ...
The whole point is that I would not want to lose saves, there passed 100+ additional. tasks + about 50 witch orders + perfect decks of gwent ...
In general, sadness :(
In general, I rolled back the saves 60% of the progress back, until the moment where the mod was placed on the merchants, everything works.
