Check out the minimum system requirements. The fact is that I had the same problem and that I just didn’t try starting from the lowest graphics until the game speed decreased. Nothing helped until I bought a new vidyuhu. I had a 560 GTX. Bought a 760 GTX and no problem. Not a game - pleasure.
