Patch 1.08.2 (The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt)

Patch 1.08.2 is not installed. Writes "There is not enough space on the system disk." Has anyone solved the problem?

How much free memory on the system?

With 2.72 GB. On D (on which the Witcher is installed) 78 GB

Little, you need somewhere around 7 gigs if memory serves. Unpacking the patch comes with:

In general, it is better to free up space on the system one, at least so that 15-20 gigs are free. It will be very useful

download the reg file, in it write down the path to the game everywhere, you will understand everything there when you edit it

Unpack the patch on another drive and transfer the files to the game folder with a replacement.

when ANY file is copied, it is first moved to the TEMP folder which is located on the C: drive
(that is, where Windows is installed), and only then it is placed in the cell of your choice on the disk!
so if anyone has such problems, just keep some free space on the C: drive. 15 - 20 GB is sufficient for optimal computer performance. personally, I always keep 50 GB of free space.

insel The TEMP
folder can be moved to any disk!
Everything is done in the OS settings, but the system partition should NEVER be dirty.

FinistEG The TEMP

By default, it is on the C drive, and any user (the one who is not a boom boom in Windows), of course, does not even know that such a folder exists and what it is for!
all the more simply (counter C counter B) it cannot be transferred!

I agree with this.
These "users" always have problems. Mom or dad bought a computer, he just turned on and that's it! He is already the king of Internet and games, but not to know at least a little bit how this very computer works.
Anyway. Senile grumbling :))

FinistEG you
know, when my parents bought me a computer (somewhere 99 - 2000) for the first time (3 - 4 months) I was only interested in playing games, and then I decided to see what Windows is. I took it down 20 times, and my brother cursed me 20 times and reinstalled it)) then taught me how to install Windows, and then I reinstalled it myself) now at least I know what is where and for what it is necessary) and these "users" did not interfere if only a little to understand the OS, because it is no less interesting than the same toys and useful) and they suffer garbage ...
yes, I agree, senile grumbling!)
