cartoon identification

I now remembered one old cartoon of my childhood, but I forgot the name. I don't remember who was GG. In general, at the beginning of the cartoon, they ride a steam locomotive in cages, then the cage falls out of the train in the cold. Then, the GG wanders through the frost and finds a small house there, in which a gnome lives (or not a gnome, I don’t remember). He sheltered GG in exchange for the fact that he had to clean the house. Another gnome constantly ate scrambled eggs, but not the point. In one of these cleanings, he accidentally sets fire to the gnome's house. Then GG seems to be judged or something like that. I don't remember any more.
