Does Geralt get fat as the game progresses? (The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt)

In general, I decided to throw out all the things from the inventory that are possible, except for elixirs / bombs / oils, because. they will be destroyed, and apart from quest items, it is generally impossible to get rid of them, they weigh a total of no more than 2 units of weight, I thought. Where are the 23 from? Does anyone know how to fix this?
