Question about MSI Radeon R9 290X

Hello, I want to buy such a video card in the near future - MSI Radeon R9 290X, so, will it work normally with my asus m5a78l m lx v2 motherboard?

motherboard does not play a special role, the main thing is PCI-Express x16 version 2.0 (although the 760 chipset is already old, but it is enough for one card).
what processor? To open this video card, you need at least a 6-core FX-6300, or even better, an 8-core FX-8300. AMD processors are already weak, so in this situation this is a decisive buying factor.

PS: I see everything in the FX-6100 profile. Well, in principle, it is not enough of course, but it will do.

at least 8320... the best option i5 4690

needs a processor from amd, with a margin for the future and which will fully reveal the card, it’s a little expensive from intel

for top-end video cards, processors from AMD are not a cake ... unfortunately

290x, not such a productive grapho solution, it is quite possible to bend it so that it will open any 6-8 nuclear amd with a more or less decent frequency.
but what is there with a margin for the future is not clear. How do I have a reserve for the future from the budget ones?

8 core AMD will not reveal 290X) even more 6. it needs i5 and i7 is better, because it is very processor-dependent, unlike its analogue from nvidia

is another person who talks about radeon's CPU dependency...
I haven't seen any clear benchmarks that clearly shows that the card loads the CPU more at low frame lock compared to say 780ti -980.
nvidia is of course less processor dependent because its performance can be beaten up by drivers and then divided by 0 sdrom. but nvidia shbao work slower there so there is no performance.
in fact, even with a castrated graphon in 1080, I have nothing left of 690 performance and is a weak point at fx6100. The only exception is The Witcher 3.

well, in fact, 8320 will not reveal 290x, and even more so 6300)

NerdGeek,
for example, go to the gamegpu website. ru
dragon age inquisition sharpened by frostite under amd
290x maximum full chd 1080 48-57fps fx
8350 60-76fps
go to gta 5 which is famous for its graphics test version 3
290x without smoothing 34-48
with smoothing x2 26-37.
With x8 anti-aliasing and alpha anti-aliasing filtering, I authoritatively declare that there will be 15-18 fps and even there the memory will run out.
and our fx, meanwhile, is 43-57 fps,
and there if I, for example, can claim that gmpu forces 2x to contact the driver for each card, which is a processor-memory dependent operation.
thus we come to the conclusion that fx 83xx with a kick on the tire and raising the running around to 4.5 will cover the 290x cross without any problems. except for cross-country problems.

even in GTA I have 290x with 4x MSAA 60 fps) but the shadows are softer

but I have i7-4770K 4.3Ghz

like so. it's very strange though. I have 30 fps in full black as a whole with an indulgence for soapy textures and fhaa to save memory.
see screwed af x16 and 8x samlung herbs in isolation do their job in processor independence.
so by the way I tested in 1024x768 there will be 40-60 because of the processor. chips will be loaded by 40% approximately.
