How can I force it to be set to 1680 * 1050 (editing disp.ini does not work)? Or make it so that the screen does not stretch?The game is 2003, there were no such permissions before. I just run in windowed mode, 1400x1050, nothing is stretched naturally, the desktop looks out on the sides. I have a monitor with the same resolution, 1680x1050. By the way, I haven’t tried it myself, but on my sister’s laptop, such a feature works: the screen is 1280x800 there, that is, the ratio is like mine, 16:10, but if she launches the game, and that one supports only 4:3 ratio, then it automatically, without any dances with tambourines, just black edges on the sides, nothing stretches :). This is on Windows 7, on Vista it also had everything stretched. Try to run old games on the Seven, maybe you will have automatic scaling :)

Who has a card from Nvidia, the latest drivers no longer stretch the picture to the entire monitor, but make vertical black stripes on both sides, while maintaining the original proportions. I don't know about cards from AMDATI.
