CREATING A CHARACTER
Only the class of your GG is important here. Since it depends on the class - what weapons and armor we will have access to.
I strongly do not recommend taking the "Princeps" (aka a tank), since this class has the most useless skills, and is only needed as a "plug" for narrow passages and "aggro" enemy archers. In addition, two of our satellites have this class. Triarii is not a bad class, for which the developers scattered a lot of legendary weapons. We have a triarii satellite, and objectively speaking, there is no need for a second triarii in the party. Velit is the best choice for the GG (aka "death machine"), although we have a party member, but if there are two "death machines" in the squad, it's always good. It is for Velita that there is the best weapon in the game - the spear of Achilles. , which allows you to carry out long chains of murders (from 1 turn) - I have a maximum of 18 so far. (More details on how to do this will be in a separate guide.


LEVELING
It is possible to reach level 20 in the game (updated). Each new level slightly increases health and gives 1 skill point. Within each class, we have 3 upgrade branches available (you can download them in parallel, but the most effective skills require you to invest a certain amount of points in the desired branch). In general, by the end of the game you will have one branch completely pumped and the second one half pumped.

CAPTURE OF TERRITORIES
Capture is needed according to the plot, as well as to capture the infrastructure necessary for pumping the legion (sawmills, farms, etc.).
IMPORTANT! We actively use the key (left. ALT) - highlights objects in locations and borders of territories on the global map. The global map is divided into sections, each section has a place for the future outpost of the legion. The capture of a section of the map begins with an attack on such an outpost, then you will have two options:
1) Quick option - a point of interest for "Pacification" appears on the site and you can send a legion there. And then seize the infrastructure.
2) Slow option - to activate the "Pacify" task, you need to go to the outpost and talk to the manager near the Legate's tent. Next, a point of interest will appear, and go on a mission with one of the party members and 5 "dummies".


DEVELOPMENT OF THE LEGION
You need to develop the legion for the sake of two things:
1) Open access to the crafting of rank 3 weapons and armor (Build a smelter)
2) Open access to the hiring of level 18 "Dugs".

Note: Captured resources (farms, gardens, etc.), money, slaves and medicines, if not used, are transferred to the next military campaign. Therefore, it makes sense to save some money in order to buy unique drawings in Rome.

CRAFT
Each weapon and armor has a degree of rarity: gray (common), green (rare), blue (legendary), gold (epic), as well as a rank (I-III). But all this is all the same, since you will only craft golden weapons and armor. I get materials for crafting mainly from disassembling weapons (RMB), and are also found in chests.
Craft is implemented extremely unfriendly to the player. And it greatly stretches the gameplay, since you need to reboot for at least half an hour to "knock out" the best stats and combat techniques for weapons. In the game you can craft weapons, armor, consumables. You can also improve already crafted weapons (I recommend using this particular option (because it is faster, and if you have already spent half an hour crafting weapons of rank 1 to knock out the best stats, you won’t get the minimum limit).
There is a bug in the game - you can’t craft amulets, except one received according to the plot (at the same time, when disassembling epic items, they write that drawings for amulets were received, but in fact - it is impossible to craft).
P/S: Unique armor for plot companions will still have to be dismantled and re-crafted (rather than upgraded). Since increasing the rank adds an additional characteristic to this armor, but this does not happen when upgrading)
WEAPONS AND ARMOR Let's
talk only about epic weapons and armor. Each of these items has a unique property. As well as unique combat techniques. For example, there is a unique bow that breaks through shields, a sword that sets fire to enemies, or the spear of Achilles, which will allow you to make a move almost endlessly (provided that we kill the enemy). General recommendations - we strive to craft with the maximum critical damage. You can slightly improve crafted weapons by replacing one of the indicators in the forge.
FIGHTING TECHNIQUES
In total, 3 weapon moves and leveling moves are available. For the Princeps - use the sword and shield. On the sword, we knock out the "Defensive Strike" and "Shoulder Strike" techniques. Third move, take "Shield Bash"


For Sigitaria: take "Jagged Arrow", "Fire Arrow", "Powered Shot".
For Velit: "Va-Bank" on a spear and "One-two" on a dagger. The third skill is any (for example, a hasty blow)


For the Triarius: "Whirling attack", "Wide swing" and "Whirlpool".

To accept my opinion or not is your right. Objectively - Velit is the best DD in the game. See my topic about the spear of Ahil. Princeps - just a "piece of meat" and a "plug" for passages. With the spear of Ahil, you can just do solo play.

Enemies have a lot of HP, sometimes it’s impossible to kill one in a turn so that skills and action points are reset to zero. In this case, party members help. Archers (double shot at different enemies), if necessary, and other party members home, and finish off with a command with a chain. In general, all classes are useful, on insane and principles are very necessary with the defense skill. I put the principle with the included skill of protection around him of the party members, the norms work. Triarii break armor well, do homework perfectly, and they also have a skill where you can finish off with resetting the move.

Then I didn’t waste time, I didn’t suffer from hemorrhoids with parsing and forging, I tried a little, I was disappointed in the forge, because to forge something better is to waste time and it’s not a fact that it will turn out. And about cutting out eighteen enemies per turn at maximum difficulty without the help of party members, something is hard to believe. I wonder how he killed the shieldmen, or who has all sorts of buffs for evasion, etc.? I would like to watch the video.

As for the spear of Achilles. Shields how? There are two "free" hits - a spear combo with a dagger (three uses) and sharpening (for concentration).
They remove the shield. ("Reaper" will return everything later).
Then activate a guaranteed crit and strike with a hidden attack (the dagger in the second hand must be pumped in for damage) - then a lot of damage is knocked out, and critical - unblockable.
. For a safety net, download the assassin branch, there will still be an additional action point for concentration.
I ran around with a spear for several fights, and vowed to use it, because. the game loses its meaning. Too cheesy.

Bathhouse is very useful, level 1 is more than enough for a bathhouse attendant to build up morale at the beginning of the game, and then it will also be useful. But I don't see the point in pushing it anymore.
Also, according to the scheme, the reconnaissance tent is fully pumped (no comment, there is a benefit) and a warehouse, it will not hurt to have + 15% to the strength of the army during the capture, there is a stronger enemy than during the defense, so there is no point in the palisade.
Hospital up to level 2, heal characters for a long time. Optionally, it is easy to complete the third level. Like the third level of Tactics.
Recruiting is also ignored. You have to hire extra. legionnaires at the beginning of the game. Hired high-level will be pumped anyhow. Upgrading the store doesn't make much sense either.
