Error 0xc0000142 (Dying Light 2: Stay Human)

Have tried everything with a friend. Doesn't start. All methods have been tried. They climbed into the registry, changed the user, and so on. Help, who was able to solve this problem

If you have this problem when starting Dying Light, it means that the application did not initialize correctly. The problem is solved simply - just run the game in compatibility mode.
To do this, right-click on the game launch file "Properties" tab "Compatibility" then select "Run in compatibility mode" and select the OS at the end, be sure to check the box "Run this program as an administrator.
This is for DL1. Maybe DL2 will help.
