Modding Guide (Anno 1404)
Hello everyone, a short guide to modding the game Anno 1404 Venice. 2) To change the game with the Venice addon, you need the addon folder.
3) For convenience, right-click on the files inside the addon folder, open with and select the exe file of the program that you downloaded earlier. It should turn out like this.
4) Clicking on any of these files will now open the program. You make a backup copy of the data1 file, for example, on the desktop. What would be the opportunity to return to the original version of the game.
5) Open the program through any of these files in the addon folder, in the file-open program
6) Find the root folder with the game and open the addon folder. you need the file data1.
7) addondata-config-game-assets.xml. you open assets.xml it should open as a text file.

These are the general configurations of both elevators.
If you do not change these configurations (configurations of textures and the active zone of the elevator), the elevator will work, but the radius in which it is active, that is, it gives a boost to farms for growth, will remain the same.
