1) You need the NWN client itself with Shadows of Undrentide & Hordes of the Underdark addons.
You can download the client here, file codes RBCXG8MIN48VGN1 and X0PO8SKP04OE7HW, only 2.2 GB in 7z archives. The version there is 1.69, the version of Gema hacks is 25. Russian fonts are also included in the kit.
If you already have a client, go to the next step.

2) Client version must be 1.69.
If you already have 1.69, go to the next step, if not, download the patch, 325 MB.

3) You will need the hack files (and tlk) of the shard.
First, hack version #25, 67 MB in 7z archive. Unpack, put all the files in the / hak directory of your HVN. If clicking on the link results in a page with krakozyabry, save it as a 7z file. The MD5 sum of the file is 05b6c73ea73692ebfa7939357e1e5392.
Secondly, the latest version of the tlk file, put it in the / tlk folder of your NVN. If clicking on the link results in a page with krakozyabry, save it as a tlk file.

4) For unimpeded communication in Russian, you need to put Russian fonts in the / override folder of your NVN.

5) You need a bioware.com game account.

6) Next, register on the shard forum. After registration, you must wait for some time before your account is confirmed by the administrator, usually less than a day.
After confirmation, follow the link http://forum.nwnights.ru/index.php?act=nwn_regi, where you enter [b]the same game account that you registered on bioware.com[/b] and 3 keys from the nwncdkey file .ini, which is located in the game folder. If you are not a happy owner of license keys, then, most likely, the forum will display a message that such a key is already in use. You can use a key generator to generate your unique key. They sequentially create 3 keys and write them to the nwncdkey.ini file (it is important to follow the order of the keys, if the keys (key1, key2, key3) are not in order in the ini file, you need to fix this).

7) Launch the game client, go to Multiplayer -> Join Internet Game, enter the game account and password (which you used when registering on bioware.com), click Cancel in the GameSpy window that appears, then find the Direct Connect button at the bottom, in the window that opens in enter nwnights.ru in the IP-address field, leave the Player Pass field empty. If you did everything right, the character creation window should appear. After creating a character, you will be thrown into the main menu - this is normal, the next time you enter, you will be able to play this character.

- There is an apostrophe (single quote) in the name of your game account.
- The account you use to access the server does not match the one you entered in the NWN account registration form. For example, the case of letters does not match (in one case, a lowercase letter, in another, an uppercase letter). To change the account entered in the registration form, you must contact the administration.
Q: Unable to login as a character. Gives an error like "Character has implausible agility."
A: It is necessary to delete all files with 2da extension from the Override folder, for example, downloaded for playing on other shards.

Q: Where can I buy a blank scroll in Gem?
A: An empty scroll can be made. Scrolls also require ink and a pen to write.

A: The correct batch is a batch of 2+ characters that has been tested by a special formula (it's a secret). It should also be added that the penalty for the number of members increases at 2-4 spells, and then begins to decrease, stopping at 6 members. In fact, a party of 6 members is slightly inferior to parties of 2 in terms of experience, but given the strength - a large party is now much more profitable.

Q: Tell me how to deal with crafting
A: There will be no tables from the administration. But I advise you to look here. Over time, the simplest information about crafting will be available in the game.

Q: How can I get "Shard Player" status on the forum?
A: If you have a character of level 4+, then you can get the status of a shard player by clicking on the link. This will unlock access to the players forum and bugtrack.

Q: I died, but the loot bug didn't show up. What to do?
A: There are 2 options - either you were half-thrown, or you died in a lock with crooked tiles - Elven Castle or Black Lake. In the latter case, you need to put the fix of the loot model in the override folder. After you take the loot, it is better to remove the fix from the override.

Q: The crafting skill does not rise. Why?
A: Sometimes closing/opening the table and restarting helps.

A: Boot character in several cases:
- A character with the same name already exists;
