Eugene (World of Warplanes)

There are already several ways. Choose any, but first carefully read the description!

Methods recommended by the developers:

automatic client integrity check;
client recovery;
reinstalling the game
running the game in "safe mode" without mods (does not always help).

Using the integrity check, you can force the launcher to check the game files. If some file was damaged or missing altogether, it will be downloaded from the Wargaming storage.

Attention! Sometimes this method is buggy and instead of downloading individual files, the launcher starts downloading the entire client. Therefore, it is recommended to do this manipulation on a virgin client without mods.

The developers themselves advise using a special pkg file recovery tool:

Download the wot_integrity.zip archive.
Unpack it so that the WoTLauncher.bat file gets into the root directory of the game.
Run WoTLauncher.bat by double clicking.

The launcher will be launched in recovery mode for damaged or missing files.

Restoring the client

Launch Wargaming Game Center.
Select world of warplanes
Click on the "Game Settings" button with the sign of the tools.
Select "Repair Game".

Manual integrity check World of Tanks

This method differs from the previous one in that we simply find out whether we have a whole game or not. Nothing will be downloaded or updated. However, to make such a check, you need to install additional software.

You have probably seen the inscription more than once: "MD5 checksum ..." and then a bunch of data.

A checksum is a value calculated from a set of data by applying a certain algorithm and used to check the integrity of data during transmission or storage. Also, checksums can be used to quickly compare two data sets for non-equivalence: with a high probability, different data sets will have unequal checksums.

Download and install the HashTab program (attached to this article).
The official update page of the game has the update file itself and its checksum.
Open the folder with the downloaded game update, for example, like mine: E:GamesWorld_of_TanksUpdates.
Open with the right mouse button: Properties > File hash sums
Insert the amount from the official WOT website into the "Hash comparison" field and click Compare file.

If everything is OK, you will see a green checkmark:
