For those who are not in the know - even a crack is not needed for The Witcher 3. A simple GOG version is enough. So that's not the point.

Um.... the crack is not needed, but "repacks" pack/compress resources, otherwise they cut off what the author considered superfluous. What they "pressed" in each specific case and how it interacts with patches designed for full content - only God knows.
So, just for the Witcher - looking for "another repack" is an absolutely pointless exercise. From the very beginning, a lot of full GOG licenses were laid out. So what for to download edged repacks?!
