Problem with \"Freak\" quest (The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt)

I can't talk to the sergeant at the beginning of the freak quest. I go up to him, he stands by the fire, I press the button, and he answered me "there is nothing for you to do here" and that's it ... even fistfights began to take place in order to wave with the sergeant, but even here it did not help. version 1.07. what to do?? help...maybe you can just skip over this quest.
