problem after changing RAM

the characteristics were as
follows processor AMD E2-1800 APU with Radeon (tm) HD Graphics 1.70 GHz
RAM 4 GB
video card AMD Radeon HD 7400M Series
the thing is that on the motherboard there are two slots of RAM in each of 2 GB total 4
bought and installed today one for 8GB after that the performance decreased

PS: now you have single-channel mode, previously dual-channel worked. In practice, this translates into a negligible difference in throughput. You won’t notice it by eye, only if you detect it in tests. But, I repeat, the difference is a couple of percent.
