Question about additional missions (LA Noire)

As I understand it, there are 40 additional missions in the game, and in order to complete them, you need to answer the call and then go to the marker. The question is the following, suppose the player answered on the radio, but did not go there, will the same call be repeated until you pass it, or will there already be another call with a different task?
