Is a video card right for me?

I want to buy a gtx 960 video card to replace my gtx 550ti. Will my components unlock the potential of the gtx 960? In particular, the motherboard is interested, how will it react to overclocking the 960th?

My systems Motherboard

: MSI P67A-C43 (MS-7673) (3 PCI, 3 PCI-E x1, 1 PCI-E x16, 4 DDR3 DIMM, Audio, Gigabit LAN)
Processor: QuadCore Intel Core i5-2300, 2900 MHz ( 29 x 100)
Hard disk: ST2000DL003-9VT166 ATA Device
RAM: 4067 MB (DDR3-1333 DDR3 SDRAM)
Power supply: switching power supply 450w

Must reveal. It's still i5. And the motherboard will probably also be able to more or less respond to overclocking (small)

In particular, the motherboard is interested in how it will react to overclocking 960
in any way. but I would question the overclocking of the power supply.
in most games, depending on the resolution, the card can be completely bent, especially if the card has 4GB. however, the computer as a whole does not meet the minimum system requirements. you need to at least increase the amount of RAM.

The recommended power supply for the GTX 960 is 400 watts. Therefore, 450 watts will be with the head.

That is, it will be possible to drive her correctly understand? 8 gigs of RAM will be enough, I think. Resolution 1600x900 monitor is not fulashdi

Or you can take 760, it doesn't seem to be much different from 960

technically, overclocking of a video card is now in no way dependent on the motherboard, because the power supply is separate.
Under such a monitor, there will probably not be much sense in overclocking. and so probably the card will scream normally under such a resolution.

Under the monitor and the processor, there seems to be no point in overclocking the core. But overclocking the memory of the vidyahe 960 can be useful.
Z.Y. IMHO, I'm not kidding at all. Another 128 bits will not be enough for high anti-aliasing, but now this bit depth is at 32 ROP. That is, the power of texture units in video cards is not enough against, say, 760.

watched a lot of reviews about 760 and 960 on the Internet, as a result, 960 wins despite 128 bits, in some it played on the contrary, 760 showed itself better, such as the hitman battlefield, let's say the old ones, and in the new ones, on the contrary, 960 takes advantage. as I understand the 960 technology is new and it is better than 760
