To seriously deal with textures, a laptop unable to run Photoshop is clearly not suitable because Photoshop has the best toolkit for editing any images.

one thing if I want to do retextures - it's another thing that, besides retexturing, I probably need the textures of the characters themselves from the game.
Yes, the last photoshop on my laptop doesn't work - but paint doesn't and Gimp works fine.
