M'rk, like the Persian, gets a strong penalty for exp up to 25 lvl.
Run in previous locations or buy immediately 25+ If they donâ€™t kill, then Merk doesnâ€™t get any exp at all. ;D

You need to rebuy the merk exactly on the norm, since the lvl is still 1-5 less than the Persian (you can recreate the game a couple of times to buy the right one), and on nm and hell they have less hp, dex/str, cuts and skills of a lower level!
