Skill Imbalance (Elex)
As I understand it, there was such a plan initially - either you pump directly the damage from a specific type of weapon, where melee and heavily armed fighters have the main stats - strength / stamina, for rangers - strength / dexterity, but everything was confused by the binding of energy weapons to intelligence, therefore hastily rebalanced and scattered absolutely free uniques with incomprehensible characteristics that do not fit into the technological concept at all and added so that children do not feel deprived. Or you are a high-tech character and you only upgrade guns through "Weapon Modification", where the stat is sharpened specifically for int.The ideal solution would be to use the ability from the "Weapon Modification" craft exclusively for energy weapons with its logical inclusion in the combat category and when playing on standard difficulty, but the cards were already shuffled so that it was too late to give back and that's why the ultra-difficulty appeared. Well, or they could do the smart thing and spread out the requirements of this ability by including the power requirement so everyone can take full advantage of it on Ultra.
What I'm talking about is that the game keeps the player from the action for an extremely long time and quite suddenly makes you able to fight back, thereby depriving you of the pleasure of feeling progress. Then you can’t do anything and didn’t even train, because it’s dangerous and pointless, when suddenly damage appears and you are already laying everyone down with a unique drain, without even improving a single basic fluff - this is darkness! If they solved this problem, then there would be no such jerks through 10-15 levels.
I’m already starting 10+ attempts to start the game in such a way as to feel the balance, but I just can’t, because the weapon is literally inflatable up to level 3 and glues only those who have a weak prefix. The bunker decides, but this should not be the case in a smart game, especially with firearms, grenades, and even more so with plasma.
Verdict - wow! You can and should play, but it’s worth turning off to hell all the knowledge about the real world and physical laws, they will only harm here.
As I once stated - after the release of the second part, it may happen that the first part will be loved even more, including me, and so it happened. I look at the kopeck piece and I already feel sick, stupidly a clone of the first, but even more crippled and with the transfer of all kinds of crutches.
