Glade of Swords (Elden Ring)

There are several objects in the game that consist of a group of large stone swords stuck into the ground with the largest of them in the center. There is always an inscription on the central one. Does anyone know what they are for (except perhaps the lore component) and how to activate them? I tried different emotions suitable for the text and did not notice the reaction ...
