Screen resolution in game (Gothic 2)

When changing resolution in gothic 2 night of raven, non-official patch the game crashes. More precisely, when changing the resolution, a black screen simply appears and the musical theme is reset. What to do in this situation? I installed additional patches (systempack), and also installed the vurts mod. But none of the above helped. The resolution simply does not want to change, and the game itself crashes quite often (during save / load, just with standard gameplay).
