Banished - how to survive? (banished)

Many people who start playing Banished face many problems. Either there is not enough food, or children are not born, or too often people die prematurely. So I decided to give you advice on what to do.
For starters, it's better to put the game on the easiest difficulty, this will help you understand a little about the game, what's where and how. By choosing this difficulty, you have more families, resources at the start.
What do you need to build first? To begin with, I advise you to pause the game, look at the map and decide what and where you will have, then start building. To begin with, it is important to provide people with food, firewood, tools, clothing and means to maintain health.
First we build a farm and a pasture (build it as large as possible, so you will achieve maximum productivity), I also advise you to put either fishing docks or a hunting lodge (since the farm is harvested only in autumn, and docks and hunting lodges work all year round and collect food constantly). Then put a woodcutter's hut, he will provide the inhabitants with firewood so that they do not freeze in winter. Also, do not forget to replenish warehouses with supplies, otherwise nothing will be built. Be sure to build a school otherwise over time you will have a large death rate of people due to injuries at work due to the fact that your workers are not trained. Then, if you have cows or sheep (if you set the easy level of the game, they drop out randomly. Otherwise, you can buy them from merchants if you build a trading post), then build a tailor's hut so that people, being on the street, can work in winter. After that, be sure to build a blacksmith's house to provide people with tools otherwise they will work poorly and die. Also build a herbalist's house, he will provide people with medicines. After that, proceed to the construction of the cemetery, so that people do not lose happiness when they lose a person who died a natural death. Also, the advice is to put a well near the houses where people live, so that people in case of fire can put it out with water from the well. It's also best not to build temporary boarding houses as the villagers love their houses, but it's worth building 1-2 of them in the future just in case. to provide people with tools otherwise they will work poorly and die. I also wanted to talk a little about if you do not have children. This may be due to an insufficient number of houses, children are born if a family lives in the house, in order to create a family they need an empty house. Women give birth before the age of 45, while men can fertilize for the rest of their lives. Don't forget to build new houses in time.

What determines the happiness of the inhabitants?
Happiness depends on whether they have everything they need, it is not necessary to build churches and taverns. Provide them with enough food, tools, clothing, firewood, medicine and a graveyard and they will be happy.

A little about nomads.
Nomads can spawn if you have a town hall. If they appeared, then you can accept them for yourself, they will work. But do not rush to rejoice. Don't forget it's extra hungry mouths, do you have enough food? They need houses, just in case, put a couple of temporary houses for them, so that if you do not have permanent houses, they will live there. Also, nomads can bring you various diseases, do you have enough medicines? Therefore, think seriously whether it is worth taking them to yourself.
These tips will help you deal with the game first and not "kill" your inhabitants with a lack of food and so on. Then you can figure it out yourself. If you have any questions ask, I will answer with pleasure.

Deleted the last message. got a little bit into the game. It's easier to play, but not easier. The people are still dying like flies. There is a feeling of randomness of all resources and "desires" of the inhabitants. Of the 16 people in the population, 14 work in the field of food production, and as a result, the warehouse is empty, after a while they die of hunger. How so? In another mission with the same buildings "for food" he very quickly reached the ceiling of 5000 food, raised it to 10000 and overcame it in an instant. True, he got stuck at the construction of a quarry, began to send people to manually collect stones in distant areas, for some reason the food left and they again died of hunger. There seems to be no balance in the game.

come on, the games couldn't be easier... started playing on the same high difficulty, at first he built fishing piers, and died... the fish get very little, but they require a lot of people. Just one Gatherer's Hut and you're covered in chocolate!! It's very easy to survive. Then you build houses, collect resources around (but not in the gatherer zone), then you think about how to replenish wood and stone, respectively, build a couple of foresters' huts and a quarry, and you're in chocolate again ... then everything is generally easy and boring ... quickly degrade all the buildings that are in the game (there are few of them)

As I understand it, you just need to constantly build houses and ennoble the town at the same time. in the summer, half of the fishermen, gatherers, hunters (if it is not enough to add miners) to send to the farm. for a day of playing on medium difficulty, I have 90 adults, 35 children and more than half of the buildings have been built. though it is not clear if these are all the possibilities of the game and there is nothing more to open, then sadness is sadness. In general, I liked the game, but for 2-3 times to play ...

The game has a joke 11 year old boy married 22 women. Just a horror game, I had a shortage of men and too many women.

Who else is playing it? Faced many problems.
1. In case of fire, people run around the well, but they don’t want to put out the buildings. Outcome. The village is completely burned out.
2. Quarries (3 pieces) employ 15 people each. For one game year, extraction of 17 stones. wtf???
3. Just over 100 residents. Built 4 forges. The barn is littered with iron tools. But, at some point in time, the tools abruptly disappear and the residents’ instrument immediately breaks sharply. Everyone has...
4. Fields become infected with boogers. How to rid the field of pests?

in any way, just demolish it, then you can build a new one on this place, but better with a different culture.
