About installing mods (Elden Ring)

I've searched everywhere, but I can't find a solution anywhere. Installed a mod on the DualShock icons in the game using UXM. After unpack eldenring.exe, the weight of the folder itself almost doubled. Can this somehow be fixed, or can I reinstall the game and be content with the icons from the boxing gamepad?

. You unpacked the game by extracting the files from the archives. They should take up more space than packed ones.

? Well, initially the game occupied 50 GB, if I unpacked it, is it possible to somehow pack it back?

impossible. You can only delete the unpacked files from the game folder, but then your mods will not work.
