What year did you last buy CDs?
Me about 5 years ago. It was then that a more or less normal Internet appeared that made it possible not to count every megabyte.If we are talking about licensed games on discs, then the last one was BFBC2, and I still buy empty discs from time to time.

In 2015, the last time I took a disc. This is an audio CD. If a new album of my favorite artist comes out, I will most likely buy it. And what else to buy on them this time? PC games have practically ceased to be released on them, although, perhaps, I would like to buy something. Of the games (not pirates), I bought Oblivion in 2007 for 389 rubles, the disc is still lying, reminding me of the good old days.

It's a bit of a pity that the physical media disappeared. Virtually no sanctions apply to physical media, a couple of years ago I reinstalled the Oblivion game, which I bought 15 years ago - no DRM, Internet, and other nonsense for you. You can put and play in an open field, of course, taking a solar battery with you.
I bought a bucket of blanks in 2019-2020 for PS2 games and backups / improvised images that are inconvenient to store on a flash drive with g4dos. During this time, God forbid, I recorded 5 pieces. Ps2 is still in the box because there is nowhere to put the TV.
