Problem with BF 1942 on Win 7 (Battlefield 1942)

The game won't start! Tried different versions - it's in the settings. The game starts when you set the resolution to 640x480, but then immediately crashes (message - you are trying to change the screen resolution, the native resolution is 1366x768). Where and how to set it up?

Run with compatibility with XP pack 3, if it stretches to full screen, then you need to look in the video card settings
