Let's just say that it is not accepted to be treated in any covenant. Bad tone, that's all. Therefore, you should not start the first one, especially if you are for a fair duel (and the dragons mean this especially emphasized: the duel is strictly 1x1). But if the opponent starts to heal, then you heal too.
