PE, in my opinion, lacks rethinking. New games about Batman allow you to learn everything about this hero, what you need to know about him, even if you have not read comics about him, have not watched cartoons and films about him (which is rather strange). Also, the games of the Arkham series can be called the first, because before that the games about him were not so large-scale. And worthy games about Spider-Man have been released since 2001, and they are still remembered and, even, guided by them. In SMWOS, there was some kind of freedom of choice: we saw not only the usual side of Spider-Man, but also his dark side, which was revealed better than in other games with a similar theme. And the plot was original, not taken from the comics or the movie, so it remains the best game in the series. because before that the games about him were not so large-scale. And worthy games about Spider-Man have been released since 2001, and they are still remembered and, even, guided by them.
