Communication with the developer. (After Reset)
Dear Fellow Citizens,Using the creation of a separate forum under the After Reset RPG, and given the lack of Russian-speaking forum on our official website, we will be glad to answer questions of Russian-speaking fans and those who believe in our game.
The game is very intriguing, and I had a lot of questions, here are some:
1)Will the game have vehicles(for example some sort of bugs with a machine gun turret) and exoskeletons?
2)do I Need to be in the game to eat, drink, sleep?
3)Will the game have changing weather conditions(for example, acid rain) and the radio?
4)whether to play the giant bunkers of the city?
I want to add that looking forward to this game even more than wasteland 2,so I hope that you will succeed.Good luck to you!
>Will the game have vehicles(for example some sort of bugs with a machine gun turret) and exoskeletons?
RE: Exoskeletons will be. Some vehicles will just not a buggy with a machine gun turret :) Setting After Reset refers to Hardcore Sci-Fi - this means that we maintain maximum realism in painting pictures of the future after the Apocalypse. E. g. gasoline in the tanks and the pump becomes unusable already for 3 years, abandoned skeletons of cars already in 50-70 years turn into dust, only tires in desert arid conditions can survive 100 years of change. And that's even without taking into account of the Apocalypse.
>Do I need to be in the game to eat, drink, sleep?
RE: Sleep like in Baldur's Gate. There is, like in Fallout. Water is essential to movements on the global map.
>Will the game have changing weather conditions(for example, acid rain) and the radio?
RE: Yes.
>Whether to play the giant bunkers of the city?
RE: Underground megalopolises of the United Governments in the State eagle and the great Desert of the missing.
Thank you, bro!
Hi!
About the game I learned recently and it interested me more than wasteland 2 (of course in the graphic aspect, in terms of action I like, but there are situations where delaying the time, but not the point). The issue relates to skills, namely how many and what skills will be present in the game, I'm interested in the skill of breaking locks/safes, and in some situations this without them, and simply to put the lock on the door with a shotgun or any firearm or using a sledgehammer (for example percussion brute force). And of course viewing your amazing concept art, screenshots, reading the descriptions about the game I would like to see it all in the first person as in other regions, is that possible?
Hi, JackVegas,
Thank you for your kind words.
Been a long time we are here working on the prologue without interruption.

RE: Here at this link is detailed information on the mechanics of the use of all skills http://www.afterreset.com/forum/showthread.php?t=101 . As for the hacking in the game, there are mechanical locks and electronic. As in the original Fallout 1 and 2 for hacking used the first skill is Hacking, and hacking the second used the Science skill. You can also try to break the strength of the mechanical lock (the result as in life, as a rule, not really but it depends on the STRENGTH stat of your character). In this case the game in HARDCORE mode (where your character will be sent to the server, where it will affect the formation of the global ending for the setting), the results of the hacking attempts will also be synchronized with the data on our server. Ie is not good at hacking, for example, if you have a jammed lock, to quickly load the save game and try again so just not possible :) breaking will lead to the same results. So you will need to look very carefully at what you do and what you say to whom. He is hardcore and hardcore :) And of course, as in the classic Fallout, with a suitable explosives you can blow up to as... ahem... blow up the door.
Hello. Shes interested in the game and would like to ask some questions to developers:
1)Why did you choose to play it realitivley battle system rather than turn-based?
2)will it be Possible to join teammates in the squad and control them directly like in Baldur's Gate?
3)Will the game be developed game editor, similar to the Aurora Toolset in Newervinter Nights?
Interested in the game, at what stage of development it has to be? Is it worth buying now?

Thank you for your interest. Still working on the prologue. In the nearest update monthly update video on the Steam store page for EA with the actual gameplay. The game is in Early Access. Now recommend (in capital letters on the pages of Steam) to buy only from a desire to support us as developer. Or if you want to precisely track the progress of development, how the game becomes juicy with each update. If you so desire until you have taken possession, then I would recommend to just add us to the Wishlist on Steam, watch us and wait for the release of the prologue :)
