Loading Memory (The Elder Scrolls 5: Skyrim)
Recently I decided to play the game again after 4 years, but with mods on a relatively new computer and with the ENB. I thought that 8 GB of RAM and 2 GB of video memory would be enough for my eyes - yeah, right now. I launched MSI Afterburner along with the game for measurement and was surprised to see that the video memory and RAM are loaded to the limit, and this despite the fact that the LOD and the quality of the vegetation (SFO mod) are average. The Skyrim engine is not old, Creation Engin has been used since 2011 in Skyrim and compared to other engines like CryEngine and Frostbite Engine it is still a baby. And the same is not true about optimization: pure skyrim works well on almost any calculator. Memory and performance eat mods.
I don’t know, I managed to play very well on the GT440 with 60 fps, now I have a GTX750ti for two gigs, I think it’s worth installing skyrim and looking at it. The engines in Oblivion, F3, NV and Skyrim are different, in the first three it's Gamebryo and in Skyrim it's the Creation Engine, which is in the top five most recent engines.

Finally installed 16 gigs of memory and was able to find out for sure - the system + game eats a maximum of 7 with a little gigs. If you leave the browser or something else open at the same time, it may be more than 8. The whole trick is that Skyrim is a 32-bit application, for which the ceiling is 3 with a small gig, although Windows-64 seems to be able to use some fraud increase this threshold one and a half times, but no more.
