Socket for future AMD processors.
Hello! Is there any information on which socket the new AMD processors will come out on. Recently assembled an inexpensive gaming computer based on AM3+. It is very interesting how long this socket will live, and whether new processors are planned for it. And if there is an AM4 socket, will it be backwards compatible with AM3 +, as it was in previous processors. Thanks =)5 Comments

didn't see the info.
even if it is compatible, it will function on a reduced bus.
it is also likely that it will not be supported by the motherboard bios if the connectors are visually compatible. by analogy with the newest CPUs and the oldest boards.

What's the mantra about underclocking the bus?!
Why should it be reduced?
With the release of AM3 +, AMD stated that this connector would be enough for them to the DDR4 output
