Script Compilation Errors (The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt)
Greetings. I came across a video on the game and found out that you can install mods in The Witcher. I have read on this subject. Downloaded Mod Manager and Script Merger. I added the Darker Nights mod for checking, checked for errors and, not finding them, launched the game from the manager - an error window popped up.Game version 1.31
I can't figure out what the problem is. Maybe some additional library is needed for mods to work, which, like mods, needs to be loaded?
Hello. Try this fix - The Witcher 3 "Fix file for problems with "Script Compilation error", once downloaded it
.
Thanks, but it didn't help. The window simply began to display less data. As I understood from the telemetryKeyword.ws file, one of the lines indicating an error was simply removed. That is, it is, in fact, removing the effect, not the cause.
At night I tried various mods from the list of tops. Retextures are put quietly, although in some I didn’t even notice a difference in the picture. For example, a huge 10 GB The Witcher 3 HD Reworked Project Ultimate mod. What's before him, what's after - the same. With AQUA v2 the same, no difference at all. And this is strange, because the 4K retexture of Triss just works and when I saw her in the new texture, I felt bad. I deleted it in figs and even wanted to fill the space on the hard with zeros, which is definitely not at all =)
The mod for adding new weather effects also worked, but I still did not understand what it adds. I meditated a lot of times for an hour and looked, and in different places - I didn’t notice anything new =)
Every little thing, like the endless volume of a backpack, a quick transition from anywhere, and so on, work.
The rest, such as an improved silver sword, fixing sound errors, competently choosing an enemy during battles, highlighting quest locations on the map, improved fire, improved effect from the use of signs and much more, or simply are not loaded into the mod manager, although the archive structure is normal, what necessary. Or getting out of this window with ERRORS. And this despite the fact that Script Merger shows 0 conflicts. Of course, I checked all the mods one by one, and not heaped in a bunch =)
In general, I decided to spit and continue to play as is, especially since I didn’t find anything particularly new and interesting in mods. I put only ENB, which removes the acidity of the picture.
I understood why The Witcher 3 HD Reworked Project Ultimate did not make any changes to me. Mod Manager uses drive C at c:UsersUserDocumentsThe Witcher 3 Mod Manager and I have only 2.5 gigabytes of free space on it, because the solid state is old, and the programs are working to a fig. I tried in the settings, and then in the giblets of the manager, to find where this path is registered in order to change it to another disk. Uselessly. Along the way, is it without options in this regard, or, after all, can it be somehow redirected?
Install without a mod manager, in the same place it seems that the installer is downloaded, and you only need to specify the path to the game. 5.1 downloaded a long time ago, I still have it, it's just the path to the game above that, no disks where there is no game are involved.
By the way, yes, this is a retexture. It's a shame he didn't realize it. Nothing will get confused in terms of configs =)
