Computer shuts down while playing games
In some games, my computer suddenly started to cut off. Not all of course. While watching movies, it does not turn off, and indeed it does not turn off anywhere, except for some games. The computer is relatively new, about six months old. Since I'm a useless specialist in computers and don't know what to write - I'll write everything at once)In general, here:
AMD phenom x4 2.20 GHz
RAM 4.00 GB (3.00 GB available)
ATI Radeon 4850 Series + ATI Radeon 3200 Graphics - (when I I installed Windows 7 for myself, firewood was automatically set to 4800 and 4800 began to be displayed for some reason, up to 7 there were various whists with 4850)
Atapi DVD A DH16A6S ATA Device
The sound is incomprehensible, there are 3 devices with High Definition Audio support
1 internal screw - 320GB chopped into 2 disks, external - seagate 1000GB, connected via USB
Monique LG LCD
Speakers with a Genius subwoofer
PSU - I don’t remember exactly, 280 watts seemed to be in the documents.
I don’t know what else to write, I really hope for your help.
I had the same. How long does it take for the computer to warm up? Change the cooler and be calm. Most often this is due to voltage drops (the electricity was cut down sharply).
in 1, my motherboard may have flown! I had this with an old computer! Played for 30 minutes! The computer rebooted! Maybe the power supply has flown! If the acer power supply is all right! Try reinstalling Windows!
280 watts //
... nda .. I really hope that this is a typo .. because with such power, at best, you need to collect a scarf with your characteristics ...
This is definitely not due to power surges. Unless some crazy electrician watches me and cuts off the light when I start playing something) Do you watch the warm-up after turning off the computer or before? Also, what is a scarf?
ps ACER system manager
BP - I don’t remember exactly, 280 watts seemed to be in the documents.
Where did such a miracle come from? Did you sell it or did you buy it yourself? :)
Actually, I did not buy a power supply unit separately, it was bundled with a system unit.
Throw it to hell, smash it, dismember it and set it on fire. Urgently take at least 500-watt.
I'm afraid to ask: at what price is the system unit?..
I'm afraid to ask: at what price is the system manager? ..
25 thousand, not green of course)
"250 pulls gts 250 1gb! and very good!"
I believe that it is pulling .. my neighbor's penny is still pulling
uphill too
) )
. .. and considering that 250gts is essentially 9800gth+, then its consumption is even higher)
all peripherals + hards will eat up 30 watts ..
does that mean you have a 280 watt unit?)

and if according to the subject:
Even if you discard the block, then it can be a banal overheating! Have you been cleaning the vidyuhu for a long time with a process? .. And I don’t mean purely outwardly ... blow the radiator yourself!

for such a config, you need at least 400 watts, or 500 watts of Chinese noun.
And for that kind of money, a weak system unit turned out. Next time, take a friend with you and buy everything separately.
In general, I’ll try to clean the vidyuhu and the percentage, but I don’t even know how it’s done (If it doesn’t help, I’ll go buy a PSU, if the PSU doesn’t fix the problem, then I don’t even know ...
I downloaded the cooler from the vidyuhi! Then take a special brush to remove dust! And clean it carefully!
It also seems to me that the problem is not in the bp since you have been working on it for half a year. Have there been any problems before?
And to be cleaned with a vacuum cleaner, but carefully.
Look at the sticker on the back of the PSU, what does it say there ?, or take a picture and put it here, you just can’t believe that it is 280 watts.
