Game freezes after choosing Kaine's petrification (NieR: Replicant)

Such a problem: after the fight with the grimoire and the video with Kaine and Emil, the choice is given: "turn Kaine to stone and hold the shadow" and "do nothing and die" (something like that). I choose the first one - and the game freezes and a black screen appears, it doesn’t normally go to the desktop and I have to switch with Ctrl + Alt + Del, after which there is an error that the game has stopped working and will be closed.
